17th March 2021 update
We are really pleased to be able to confirm that Adrenalin Jungle will be reopening its doors from the 17th of April 2021.
We have been monitoring the guidelines and while we believe a couple of our activity’s could reopen slightly earlier than the 17th of April we have taken the decision to wait until we could have the more of our events available.
The following events are now available to book for dates from the 17th of April:
- Airsoft (ages 12 years plus)
- Archery (ages 8 years plus)
- Assault course (ages 8 years plus)
- Combat Archery (ages 12 years plus)
- Low Impact Paintball (ages 8 years plus)
- Knife and Axe Throwing (ages 12 years plus)
- Laser Tag (ages 8 years plus)
- Paintball (ages 11 years plus)
You will notice that there are some key events not listed above and that is because right now Quad biking, Segway and 4×4 off Roading will NOT be restarting quite yet.
The reason for the delayed the restart of these 3 events is because of the proximity of guest to staff for a significant amount of time or the need to wear PPE which would in normal times be worn by another guest at some point throughout the same day.
It is the opinion of the director that now is not the time to run the risk with guests health so we are going to wait until we are 100% confident that putting guests in a 4×4 for multiple hours or the issuing of multi use helmets does not risk a guest being exposed unnecessarily.
If you need any more information you can either email us at info@adrenalinjungle.com or call us on 01623 883980 any time Monday – Saturday 9:30 – 5:30

4th December 2020
As the 2nd National lockdown ends Nottingham find itself in a new Tier 3, the enhanced restrictions specifically on socialising and group gatherings mean that while we can reopen we can not offer all of our events.
It also means that we have had to review our number of groups at our venue at any one time to ensure there is no chance of a group mixing with another group. This does mean capacity is greatly reduced but guest health and well being has always been our priority so while this is having a huge impact on our level of business we will continue to work withing the guidelines and we just hope those guest we are unable to accommodate understand.
As the rules are constantly changing and we are having to offer our available events on a 1st come 1st served basis its best to call us on 01623 883980 or email us at info@adrenalinjungle.com with your specific needs so we can let you know what the options are

5th November 2020
In line with the most recent Government directive Adrenalin Jungle is now closed, this closure is for the initial period of the 5th of November until the 3rd of December, all groups that were booked with us during this period have been contacted.
We will do our best to keep you updated as to when the Jungle can reopen but as is always the case with Covid restrictions its our guess that we will not really know what the next few months holds for us until we get towards the end of November.
Until then stay safe

30th October 2020
As Nottingham wakes up in tier 3 this morning we just wanted to let you know what this means to guests visiting Adrenalin Jungle in the coming weeks.
Currently the majority of restrictions are focused on indoor spaces / venues or private outdoor spaces.
Adrenalin Jungle is 100% outdoors, offers organised activities delivered in a 150 acres of Sherwood Forest so can ensure groups can be socially distanced in all communal areas.
We have been through the “Good To Go” steps to ensure we meet the standard required to keep our guest as safe as possible.
We have heightened procedures in place with hand sanitising station at all key points.
This means that events like Archery, Assault course, knife and Axe throwing etc are delivered exclusively to your group.
Activity’s that are still permitted to host multiple groups up to a maximum of 30 guest during live game play (group distancing at all other times) like paintball, Airsoft or laser tag are still permitted.
For loads more information on what we can offer you even in Tier 3 check out our below post from the 5th of October
Right now other than the measures we have been working under since we reopened Tier 3 does not affect ‘outdoor sports’ as long as COVID-19 secure guidance is followed at all times.
Adrenalin Jungle has and will continue to abide by government guidelines and if these change force us to change what we do we will not hesitate but right now ADRENALIN JUNGLE IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
To all the visitors over the last few months Thank You for your continued support, for those of you unsure what you can come and do why not give us a call on 01623 883980 or drop us an email to info@adrenalinjungle.com
ADRENALIN JUNGLE: OPEN, READY TO ENTERTAIN and HOPING TO SEE YOU SOON.
Regards
Adrenalin Jungle

5th October 2020
Its hard to believe it has been over 2 months since we put up our last Covid-19 update.
One of the reasons for this has been that recent changes have not impacted upon our ability to deliver events however its now becoming clear that some of the changes / restrictions are causing some confusion for our costumers so we hope this new update will help explain what we can offer you.
Paintball / Airsoft / Laser Tag Events
Having read all the guidance that is currently available and following consultation with our governing body The UKPSF we have today been made aware that we are able to continue to provide our paintball / Airsoft / Laser Tag events as they fall into the category of permitted physical activity for groups of more than 6.
Clarification of this can be found in point 3.15 at the following link (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do?fbclid=IwAR3bcNcVotD0AHkze4qsBtE5FHWTYusLNDfIg6b1a7qwyFSGnn4B8LmbRhU#visiting-public-places-and-taking-part-in-activities) where it confirms you can continue to take part in outdoor organised sport and licensed physical outdoor activity’s in groups of more than six, provided it is organised by a national governing body.
Adrenalin Jungle is a licensed, insured and member of the UKPSF which is Paintballs governing body so we hold all the permissions required for members of the public to attend our venue and use our equipment for a paintball game in groups of up to a maximum of 30 players on the field of play at any one time.
We still need to ensure that guests do not gather in groups of more than 6 at all other times when they are at the venue which is why we have segregated our car park and are providing individual tables for all groups of up to 6 so that when not actually participating in the events you will be able to remain compliant with the no more than 6 in a gathering while your with us.
Birthday Parties for guests aged 8 – 17 years
In the same link in addition to the information in point 3.15 if you read on you will see that in point 3.18 which cover leisure activities it says “Some activities – such as those organised for under-18s – are exempt from the rule of 6.”
This mean that if your event is for a children’s party because all of our events are supervised activities and we have individual event and venue specific Covid-19 risk assessments you are OK to invite more than 6 to your event.
Because of the proximity of guest and staff are having to implement the below protocols
- We are only offering 1 or 2 hr experiences
- Everyone in the vehicle will be required to wear a face covering for the duration of the time in the vehicle
- We will have the windows open for the duration of the experience regardless of the weather conditions
- We are limiting the number of people in the vehicle to 3: Our instructor, 2 participants or 1 participant and 1 passenger per session.
If you would like to book a 1 or 2 hr 4×4 off road driving experience please call us on 01623 883980 or to book on line head to our 4×4 page HERE
Blindfold 4×4: Maximum of 6 guests in a group
Because of the proximity of guest and staff are having to implement the below protocols
- Everyone in the vehicle will be required to wear a face covering for the duration of the time in the vehicle
- We will have the windows open for the duration of the experience regardless of the weather conditions
Quad Bikes: Maximum of 5 guests on a trek larger groups will be split into smaller groups and trek one after the other
We can offer a limited number of quad treks on Saturdays, we provide freshly laundered coveralls, single use gloves and head nets but even with these protocols in place we felt we needed to go a step further by moving to single use for all helmets in any 72 hour period.
What this means is that we have had to reduce the maximum number of guest on any one trek to 5 and also reduce the number of treks in any one day to 5 this obviously reduces our daily capacity significantly so we are asking all guest to call us on 01623 883980 to check availability rather than booking a quad bike trek on line.
Segway: Maximum of 5 guests on a trek larger groups will be split into smaller groups and trek one after the other
We can offer a limited number of Segway treks on Wednesdays and Saturdays, have enough helmets to enable us to only use 1 helmet per a 72 hour period.
What this means is that we have had to reduce the maximum number of guest on any one trek to 5 and also reduce the number of treks in any one day to 3 this obviously reduces our daily capacity significantly so we are asking all guest to call us on 01623 883980 to check availability rather than booking a Segway event on line.
The Other events we can offer on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays subject to availability and your group size are as follows:
- Archery (ages 8 years plus)
- Assault course (ages 8 years plus)
- Bubble Football (ages 12 years plus)
- Combat Archery (ages 12 years plus)
- Knife and Axe Throwing (ages 12 years plus)
If you want an event not listed or need a day not currently offered please email us at info@adrenalinjungle.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request or advise you as to when it will be available.

3rd July 2020
Thanks for bearing with us, we had hoped to get this update out earlier in the week but having been closed for over 3 months getting back into the swing of things has taken longer than we anticipated.
After working through our event options and looking at how our new protocols and procedures will impact we have had the trim down our event offerings for the next few weeks.
There are a couple of reasons for this but the primary reason is GUEST SAFETY.
All existing bookings will run as booked although some will have enhanced measures in place but these will be highlighted to you prior to your arrival so if you already have an event booked that’s not in the below list please do not worry.
For anyone interested in making a NEW booking for any date after the 8th of July currently the events we are offering are:
- Airsoft (ages 12 years plus)
- Archery (ages 8 years plus)
- Assault course (ages 8 years plus)
- Combat Archery (ages 12 years plus)
- Low Impact Paintball (ages 8 years plus)
- Knife and Axe Throwing (ages 12 years plus)
- Laser Tag (ages 8 years plus)
- Paintball (ages 11 years plus)
Quad biking and Segway will be only available to bookings that we already have because we know we have sufficient PPE to provide fresh kit to each guest for every Quad bike and Segway event.
Once we have enhanced systems and additional equipment in place to enable us to offer this to existing and new bookings we start to take new bookings for these events.
4×4 is currently only available to existing bookings while we make sure the enhanced procedures (face coverings for all in the vehicle, windows open for the duration of the experience etc).
Once we are confident that the 4×4 event is still enjoyable with the enhanced procedures in place we will be opening it back up to NEW bookings.
We know for some guest this will disappointing but the safety of our staff and guests will always come 1st so please bear with us while we find our feet and we are sure will be back to full strength in no time.
Best Regards

24th June 2020
Yesterday was a big day for our sector, and a huge day for Adrenalin Jungle.
ADRENALIN JUNGLE IS BACK!!! Well it will be from the 4th of July.
Following yesterday’s Boris’s address to the house and the evenings news briefing our sector closed on the 20th of March (fun fairs, theme parks, adventure parks and activity parks) has now been told it can re-open from the 4th of July.
We 100% supported the move to protect the NHS and save lives by closing ours and many other sectors but we won’t lie as a venue that delivers all of its events outdoors it’s been incredibly hard to sit on our hands through the amazing weather over the past 4 months.
We have not wasted this time we have looked at our processes and developing systems of operation so when this day came to re-open we could provide you with an environment where the risk of transmission was all but eliminated.
We now have group number limits on all events, group parking bays, 1 way routes into and out of the venue, socially (anti-social in our opinion) distanced setting, a kit labeling system and hand sanitising stations as just some of the enhanced measures now in place so you can be confident and comfortable while you’re at in our amazing 150 acres of woodland.
Even though we have put loads or work in to prepare for our re-opening because we need to see these systems in action with staff and guest we are taking the decision to run a soft re-opening so we are only going to deliver events to our pre-existing guest already booked in with us.
This way we can manage guest numbers and easily identify any gaps in our processes before we open our phone lines to new bookings for new guest that will be able to attend from the 8th of July.
To find out what events are available from the 8th of July and the guest number restrictions please email us on info@adrenalinjungle.com or call us on 01623 883980 where we will be able to talk to you in more detail about what we can offer your group in the coming months.
Best Regards
Adrenalin Jungle

1st June 2020
As we all enjoy the amazing weather as best we can while dealing with the challenges Covid-19 has given us all we wanted to give you an Adrenalin Jungle update.
Currently government guidelines do not permit us to open but as the lockdown eases we are optimistic that as an outdoor recreational venue we will be included in the earlier stages of the easing once the government is ready to move to stage 3 as this stage seems to be specifically focused on restarting the hospitality, recreational and leisure sectors in the UK.
Currently Step 3 easing is scheduled to commence over the weekend of the 4th and 5th of July and while we know this is subject to change Adrenalin Jungle is putting all of our efforts into being ready to reopen in July.
Initially we do not think we will be able to operate all of our events but once the new government guidelines for stage 3 easing are published what we can offer and how they will operate will be posted here.
Until then Stay Safe, Be Kind and most of all start planning your visit to Adrenalin Jungle.
Hoping to see you all in July.

13th May 2020
Please accept our apologies for the delay in posting Adrenalin Jungles current position following the Prime Minister address to the nation on Sunday the 10th of May.
Unfortunately immediately following the statement we honestly had no idea how to interpret the information the statement contained.
We waited for the Monday briefing and again we felt none the wise but having now read through the 60 page document that was released to support the Sunday briefing we are of the opinion that Adrenalin Jungle must remain closed at this time.
I know for those of you that contacted us about us hosting events for you and your household group are disappointed buy our decision but we just do not interpret the new guidance as making this permissible.
While the new guidelines says it’s OK for an individual from your household to meet an individual from another household at an outside venue while still maintaining social distancing we do not think your whole household can meet this person and as all of our events require direct staff supervision it means we can’t host your events just yet.
In addition to this our venue is not a public place, we are obviously open to the public under normal circumstances but we do not think “public place” and “being open to the public” are the same thing.
We will continue to monitor Government and Public Health England’s updates and as soon as we see the light at the end of the tunnel you guys will be the 1st to know but for now the message is the same, well different but the same apparently.
Stay Alert – Control The Virus – Saves Lives
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
8th May 2020
As the last lockdown deadline has now past (7th May) the only thing we know is that we must carry on doing what we have been doing.
This means that unfortunately we are unable to give you any more information as to when and how Adrenalin Jungle will reopen.
Like the rest of the nation we are waiting for the prime ministers announcement on Sunday the 10th of May and at that point we hope we will have more information share with you about our reopening so until then.
STAY AT HOME – PROTECT THE NHS – SAVE LIVES

23rd April 2020
This is an update for any customer that already have an Adrenalin Jungle voucher or are thinking of purchasing an Adrenalin Jungle voucher for someones Birthday or anniversary etc while we are temporarily closed.
For guests that already have an Adrenalin Jungle Voucher
As you will know from the information on your voucher ordinarily vouchers are valid for 1 year from the voucher issue date.
These are not ordinary times so to make sure you do not lose out our plan is to extend the voucher expiry date by the same number of weeks that we are closed.
I.E. at this moment in time we know we are going to be closed for a minimum of 7 weeks (our closure started on the 20th of March and has now been confirmed as being in place until the 7th of May at the earliest) so if your voucher was due to expire on the 7th of May 2020 your voucher would still be valid up to and including the 28th of June 2020.
Obviously the longer we are closed the longer the voucher extension will be but until we are told we can reopen we can’t give anyone a definitive date on how long your voucher extension will be.
Once we have been told we can re-open we will be putting the information on our website and Facebook pages as well as explaining this extension to any guest that contact us.
If you need any more information please do not hesitate to contact us by email at info@adrenalinjungle.com .
For guests thinking of purchasing a NEW Adrenalin Jungle Voucher during our closure.
We were initially surprised that during our closure we still had customers purchasing vouchers through our website but then people are still having birthdays or anniversary and we have had several purchases as Thank You’s for people that have gone above and beyond to help someone so we thought this bit of information may help you.
For any voucher purchased during our closure will still be using the issue date as the date the voucher was purchased but the the wording on the voucher now says that “This Voucher Is Valid For 1 Year From The Date Adrenalin Jungle Re-opens” so the lucky recipient will still have a full 12 months to come and enjoy the experience your giving them once we reopen.
So if you have that special person you want to reward then check out our Voucher page HERE
If you need any more information before purchasing a new voucher please do not hesitate to contact us by email at info@adrenalinjungle.com .
Regards
Adrenalin Jungle .……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
17th of April 2020
This is an update on Adrenalin Jungle’s position following Government and Public Health England’s Lock-down update given on Thursday the 16th of April
Adrenalin Jungle now knows it will be remaining closed until Thursday the 7th of May 2020 at the earliest.
We know this is going to have a huge impact on so many of our groups that have events booked with us over the coming 3 weeks and possible beyond.
If you have a confirmed booking that was scheduled for delivery between the 16th of April and the 7th of May please email is at info@adrenalinjungle.com so we can send you the most up to date information on the options we can offer you.
If you have a confirmed booking that is scheduled for delivery after the 7th of May and would like to know what options are available to you right not then again please email us at info@adrenalinjungle.com
We are getting a huge amount of emails and due to our forced closure and furloughing of all staff the only person able to respond to urgent enquirers (emails relating to confirmed bookings scheduled for delivery during the closure) is our director so please bear with him as he does his best to respond to emails as quickly as he can.
We would also like to take this opportunity to explain why our phone lines are closed and why we are asking all customers to email us.
The phone lines are closed because we need to make sure we are complying with the regulations regarding permitted work by furloughed staff, while a director of a company is able to carry out a limited amount of work while on furlough this is limited to urgent and legally required duties.
This does not extend to answering phone call enquirers about new bookings, as we have no way of knowing if a phone call is regarding a new or an existing booking to avoid breaching any regulations we are only responding to emails, it also ensures both Adrenalin Jungle and the group have written confirmation of any communication made during these unprecedented time.
Adrenaline Jungle wants to close by thanking you for your custom, your understanding and for the support so many of our groups have already shown us.
We sincerely hope we will have an opportunity to entertain you, and your friends and families in our amazing corner of Sherwood Forest in the not too distant future.
Stay Safe by Staying Home if you can.
Regards
Don Logan

15th April 2020
We have delayed a further update on our current position re our closure following Government and Public Health England’s announcement on Friday the 20th of March and Monday the 23rd of March because we were told this initial closure period was for 21 days but we always knew this was subject to review, as this announcement was made on the 23rd of March our “closed until Monday the 13th of April 2020 at the earliest” was all we could tell you at that moment in time.
Its now the 15th of April and unfortunately we have not received any additional information other than “we must all keep doing what we are doing” so we are still closed and at present we have no idea when this situation will be clarified with either a further extension of the lock-down or a date at which we will be told we can re open.
We know this is a very frustrating time for all of our customers with bookings in the coming weeks and months but unfortunately at this moment in time we are unable to give any more guidance on when we will be back open to welcome guests.
We would like to make the point that while this is a very tough time for all off us and in spite of the damage that this is doing to Adrenalin Jungle we firmly behind the measures that are currently in place if it helps the amazing staff of the NHS do what they do best which is save lives.
If you have a specific question about your booking please email us at info@adrenalinjungle.com but please note its taking us significantly longer than normal to respond to emails as we now only have 1 member of staff still working in the business.
We will post any further updates as and when we get them
Sincerely,
Don Logan
Adrenalin Jungle Ltd
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
24th March 2020
In these uncertain times we just wanted to update you on Adrenalin Jungle’s position following Government and Public Health England’s announcement on Friday the 20th of March and Monday the 23rd of March
Prior to the announcement on Friday the 20th of March we had already implemented a raft of enhanced cleaning protocols as well as insisting on guests socially distancing which you would think would be quite easy to do in 150 acres of woodland but even with all this space we found it was difficult to enforce and people instinctively gathered together because it’s just habit.
Following the Government and Public Health England’s announcement on Friday the 20th of March we felt the responsible course of action was to close Adrenalin Jungle with immediate effect for an initial period of 72 hours to give us time to evaluate the guidelines and how they impact on us as an outdoor venue.
72 hours on, and following the PM’s address on Monday the 23rd of March Adrenalin Jungle extending the forced closure for a further 21 days so it complies to the PM’s guidelines, this means we will now be closed until Monday the 13th of April 2020 at the earliest.
So the biggest question customers are asking us is “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR US”.
Well if your booking is scheduled for delivery before the 13th of April 2020 it means we are now unable to delivery this for you on the date booked.
It is our hope that wherever possible you will allow us to postpone your bookings, a postponed event will be open ended so it’s not restrained by weeks or months while we are closed, once we are open we plan to then give all groups a year from our re-open date to re-book.
We hope that if your visit was linked to a wedding that has had to be postponed then when the wedding gets re-booked so will your hen or stag do, if your visit was for a birthday these come around every year so we hope we will be able to entertain you next year and if you were getting friends or family together for your visit to us we hope that after your period in lockdown that your still talking to each other so will want to still come to see us!
If a straight postponement doesn’t work for your group then we are offering you the option of converting your deposit payment into a voucher which you can use, sell or gift to anyone once we reopen, the voucher would be vaild for 1 year form the date we reopen.
We hope that the majority of guests / groups will be happy with one of these options but we also know that some will be seeking refunds for deposits paid and we need to honest with you about this, refunds may take us some time to process and we may not be in a position to refund deposits until we re-open again and are back on our feet.
So in a nutshell if your booking was scheduled for delivery before the 13th of April 2020 the options we can offer you right now are as follows.
- Postponement, if your able to do this then we would really appreciate it, please reply to this email to that affect so we can keep a record or this for when you come back to us to rebook
- A voucher which you can use, sell or gift to anyone once we are back open. If this is your preferred route then please reply to this email to that affect so we can send you this voucher.
- Request a refund. Please note if you do go down this route we will do our best to arrange this as soon as possible but it may take us some time to action.
If your booking is scheduled for delivery AFTER the 13th of April 2020 the current option is.
- Postponement, even though we may be back open by the time we get to your event date we know groups need to be able to plan so if you want to take this option now, please reply to this email to that affect so we can keep a record or this for when you come back to us to rebook.
- A voucher which you can use, sell or gift to anyone once we are back open. If this is your preferred route then please reply to this email to that affect so we can send you this voucher.
- Wait and See, because your event date is booked for beyond Monday the 13th April and right now we have only been told we have to remain closed until then, if this forced closure is extended then we will be in touch with the options available to you at that time
If you’re not happy with our current position we are really sorry but as a small local company we are trying to find a way to honour our commitment to our customers while doing everything we can to stay afloat and retain our staff so that we can be here for you when this is all over.
If the information in this update does not answer your questions or provide you with a satisfactory option then please email us at info@adrenalinjungle.com and we will do our best to respond in a timely manner but bear with us as we have been forced to furlough all other staff at this time so we only have 1 person dealing with all enquires.
Adrenaline Jungle wants to close by thanking you for your custom, your understanding and for the support so many of our groups have already shown us and we sincerely hope we will have many more opportunities to entertain you, and your friends and families in our amazing corner of Sherwood Forest in the not too distant future.

20th March 2020
In light of today’s (20/03/2020) Government and Public Health announcement Adrenalin Jungle has taken the decision to close its venue in Sherwood Forest with immediate effect.
After over 20 years of providing outdoor activities in an amazing setting at Sherwood Forest this is a sad time for us, but we understand the greater cause.
We are in the process of contacting all groups that are booked to be with us this weekend informing them that they should not travel to us.
This closure will be in place for at least the next 72 hours while we review the finer details of today’s announcement but this 72 hour window will probably be longer subject to clarification of the government’s position.
Just to explain the reason for saying “for at least 72 hours”, this is to give us time to evaluate all of the statements made in tonight’s PM announcements, we are determined to follow government direction but need to understand the finer detail on how if affects activity centres such as ours.
Adrenalin Jungle is based in 150 acres of Sherwood Forest it doesn’t get more outdoors than us, so if there is any way we can help members of the public have a level of outdoor exercise without breaching the recommendation on social distancing then we will aim to do this but we need time to consider if this is possible.
We believe that we have a role to play in ensuring the mental and physical well-being to our guests while the government is offering to cover 80% of our staff wages then we will look to do this at cost so that we can provide an outdoor experience for you in these unprecedented times.
For those who have existing bookings with us, we are doing everything we can to respond in a timely manner to calls and emails but please bear with us as we have 1000’s of guest book to attend over the coming months so this could take us some time but we will respond to them all.
We want to close by thanking you for your custom at Adrenaline Jungle over the past 25 years and also your understanding and the support so many of our groups have already shown us and we sincerely hope we will have many more opportunities to entertain you all in our amazing corner of Sherwood Forest in the not too distant future.
Sincerely,
Don Logan

Adrenalin Jungle coronavirus (COVID-19) Press Release
Following the press conference given by Government and Public Health England on the 16th of March The Adrenalin Jungle’s operating position has not changed, for information on the enhanced procedures we are following in the post dated the 16th of March below.
As an outdoor venue we do not fall into the current Avoid List (please see point 4 on the below guidance on what social distancing is: Avoid large gatherings, and gatherings in smaller public spaces such as pubs, cinemas, restaurants, theaters, bars, clubs), we appreciate the list isn’t exhaustive but the emphasis is currently on enclosed spaces, as we are based in 150 acres of woodland with all events delivered outdoors we do not feel that currently the guidance impacts on our ability to function.
In addition to being outdoors our client demographic does not in our opinion fall into the at risk categories they have highlighted below as the average age of our customers is between 12 and 45, and because our events have a level of physicality to them so those that book more often than not are in good health.
We have not been told to close but some could interpret the Government and Public Health England advise as “DO NOT GO ANYWHERE INDOORS OR OUT” and if that’s how you interpreted it then we have no problem with that but that’s not how we see things as of the 17th of March 2020.
What Adrenalin Jungle is advising guest at this moment in time is
- Anyone with an underlying health problem as laid out in the guidance below should think long and hard before coming to Adrenalin Jungle.
- Anyone that has contact with anyone that falls into the at risk categories listed below should think long and hard before coming to Adrenalin Jungle.
- Any one exhibiting the symptoms associated with of coronavirus (COVID-19). SHOULD NOT ATTEND an event at our venue.
We are an industry built on making sure guests are safe at all times while in our care, and that does not change in the face of COVID-19 or any other threat of illness that would interfere with our ability to provide you with an enjoyable and memorable playing experience.
If you are in any doubt as to whether you should or should not attend please do not let the monetary position be any part of the decision making process
Despite our best efforts to continue to deliver our events to guest that wish to attend we fully understand that circumstances are evolving every day so even if we remain open we are offering all groups the option to postpone there booking with us to a new date at some point in the future which will be agreed once the situation is under control.
There is no cost associated with postponing your event all we ask is that you inform us at least 48 hours before your visit date so we can inform staff that they are no longer required.
This is NOT Adrenalin Jungle trying to fly in the face of Government and Public Health England advice, they have advised higher levels of social distancing and below is a copy of the text taken directly from the GOV.UK website (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults) where they outline those at higher risk and what they and those that live with them should avoid.
The Government and Public Health England guidance as of 17:00 16th June 2020
Background and Scope of Guidance
This guidance is for everyone. It advises on social distancing measures we should all be taking to reduce social interaction between people in order to reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19). It is intended for use in situations where people are living in their own homes, with or without additional support from friends, family and carers. If you live in a residential care setting – guidance is available at residential care setting
We are advising those who are at increased risk of severe illness from coronavirus (COVID-19) to be particularly stringent in following social distancing measures.
This group includes those who are:
- aged 70 or older (regardless of medical conditions)
- under 70 with an underlying health condition listed below (ie anyone instructed to get a flu jab as an adult each year on medical grounds):
- chronic (long-term) respiratory diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema or bronchitis
- chronic heart disease, such as heart failure
- chronic kidney disease
- chronic liver disease, such as hepatitis
- chronic neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), a learning disability or cerebral palsy
- diabetes
- problems with your spleen – for example, sickle celldisease or if you have had your spleen removed
- a weakened immune system as the result of conditions such as HIV and AIDS, or medicines such as steroid tabletsor chemotherapy
- being seriously overweight (a BMI of 40 or above)
- those who are pregnant
Note: there are some clinical conditions which put people at even higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19. If you are in this category, next week the NHS in England will directly contact you with advice the more stringent measures you should take in order to keep yourself and others safe. For now, you should rigorously follow the social distancing advice in full, outlined below.
- People falling into this group are those who may be at particular risk due to complex health problems such as:
- People who have received an organ transplant and remain on ongoing immunosuppression medication
- People with cancer who are undergoing active chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- People with cancers of the blood or bone marrow such as leukaemia who are at any stage of treatment
- People with severe chest conditions such as cystic fibrosis or severe asthma (requiring hospital admissions or courses of steroid tablets)
- People with severe diseases of body systems, such as severe kidney disease (dialysis)
What is social distancing?
Social distancing measures are steps you can take to reduce the social interaction between people. This will help reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19).
They are:
- Avoid contact with someone who is displaying symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). These symptoms include high temperature and/or new and continuous cough;
- Avoid non-essential use of public transport, varying your travel times to avoid rush hour, when possible;
- Work from home, where possible. Your employer should support you to do this. Please refer to employer guidancefor more information;
- Avoid large gatherings, and gatherings in smaller public spaces such as pubs, cinemas, restaurants, theaters, bars, clubs
- Avoid gatherings with friends and family. Keep in touch using remote technology such as phone, internet, and social media.
- Use telephone or online services to contact your GP or other essential services.
- Everyone should be trying to follow these measures as much as is pragmatic.
For those who are over 70, have an underlying health condition or are pregnant, we strongly advise you to follow the above measures as much as you can, and to significantly limit your face-to-face interaction with friends and family if possible.
This advice is likely to be in place for some weeks.

Dear Customers we just want to let you know the current position Adrenalin Jungle is taking in relation to the ever unfolding Covid-19 outbreak.
Guest and Staff health and welfare is at the core of everything we do and this current pandemic is no exception.
We are monitoring the situation very closely and we are following the advice and guidance that Public Health England and the Government are giving.
Currently there are no restrictions on social gatherings of any type in England so Adrenalin Jungle is open and will be delivering events to its customers as planned.
Should the situation develop and the Government does implement restrictions on social gatherings if they follow the move taken by other country’s i.e. a limit of up to 100 members of the public at an indoor venue and 500 at an outdoor venue Adrenalin Jungle will fall below the 500 cap for an outdoor venue.
This means unless the Government implement stricter restriction than the 500 cap at an outdoor venue Adrenalin Jungle is expecting to continue to trade as normal or as normal as is possible in such unprecedented times but will continue to comply with any and all government restrictions as and when they are implemented.
In addition to the current guidelines i.e. washing hands or using sanitizers, catching a cough and binning it, we have implemented a more stringent cleaning regime and where staff or guests touch the same equipment or surfaces we are proving an additional layer of protection in the form of gloves.
